Scholarship for kids

KidsChaupal has come up with a scholarship program to invest a total of 10 lakh Rupees in the potential of kids, keeping in mind the challenging scenario of global education and skill development. The realm of this scholarship is very vast and is applicable to students from all over the country. This scholarship primarily aims at supporting the skills development of all children.

We have a variety of categories namely: merit, entrepreneurship, visual art, sports, etc; to meet the needs of students and include the participation from maximum number of students.

Categories of the contest

As the scholarship aims to appreciate the skills of the students and give them opportunities to do better in their respective fields, we have included various categories in the program. This will give a fair chance to every student entering our scholarship program as it will cover a wide area of skills and talents.

Eligibility of contest

You are eligible to apply for our scholarship program if you meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Every student applying for the scholarship has to provide a ‘Letter of recommendation’ by his/her teacher.
• The students have to write a complete bio including the details about how well they’ve done in the school/institute so far, and what they would like to do in order to advance their knowledge and submit to us. The bio must have at least two information- contact and educational performance. Also, the students may add other sections such as certificates and acknowledgments, volunteering and other experiences, software skills, and languages.
• The students need to have 'Indian' nationality as a necessary eligibility criterion.
• Only the students from standards 8 th to 12 th can apply for the scholarship program.
• The submissions will be open for all the categories. If a student has applied for all the categories, he/she will be eligible for winning only in one category which will be decided by the team of KidsChaupal.
• The various skill levels of the contestants will also be given due consideration by our esteemed panellists.
• The ranking of the winners will be a joint decision based on the combined number of votes their entries get and the decision of our panellists which will include experts from their respective fields.

Terms and conditions

The following points are the authorized agreements between KidsChaupal and the student applying for the scholarship. The student must agree to abide by the terms of service in order to be eligible for the scholarship.

• There will be a minimum number of qualifying rounds and every student is supposed to fulfil the required eligibility criteria in each round. The team of KidsChaupal has every right to disqualify an entry if they don’t find it achieving the required criterion without any notice to the student.
• The student requires permission from the school for participation in the program. The permission should be in the form of a written letter from his/her school’s principal or class teacher.
• The student requires permission from their parents as well for participation in the program. The permission should be in the form of a written letter from parents.
• There is no limit on the number of entries. The student may submit any number of entries for the program in every category but will be eligible to be a winner only in one category.

Participation in the ‘Scholarship Program’ constitutes a student’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these ‘Official Rules’ and the decisions of KidsChaupal, which are final and binding. Winning the scholarship is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
