Are you still struggling with conducting online teaching for your students and making it up to the mark as a substitute for the real classroom experience? Don’t worry. We are bringing you a list of tools that will help you make your live class experience more feasible, convenient, and interesting.

Apart from generating a classroom link for your students and making the online schools just a click away, you can access a lot of other features that are getting upgraded quite frequently to enhance the online learning and improve an environment of learning and growth despite the current lockdown scenario which is badly affecting the education for our kids.

Have access to the unlimited durations for your online classes without interrupting the ongoing session with your students. There is no limit to virtual learning now and you can connect with your students anytime for however long until either of you gets tired of so much information or screen time.

Try polling in your online classes every now and then. Maybe some of your students have closed their video and most of the time you face a blank screen while teaching your students, having no idea if they are understanding or even listening to what you are teaching them. Ask them a question in between or generate a poll anytime throughout the class without disrupting the general flow. It could be a plain yes or no answer or a one-word answer, but it will be helpful to know how many of your students are paying attention in this live classroom.

Record your classes while you are conducting them. Set your screen on the recorder. This will be your mini archive apart from the rest of the learning materials you have got to share with your students. What a student gets directly taught from a teacher is most often much better than anything available in the form of notes, textbooks, or any other learning material. In offline classes it becomes nearly impossible for you to record your lectures since it can become too distracting, you can easily record your teaching on the online class platform. If you share them with your students, it will become a kind of crash course for your students just before their exams when they tend to have forgotten much of what they have learned in your class throughout the quarter or a year.

Integrate YouTube videos, presentations, or screen sharing easily in your live class and make your classes more interesting with this feature. Maybe you are trying hard to explain to your kids that double-slit experiment and you don’t have a chalk and a blackboard to draw the diagram as you explain, you can show your students a YouTube video of the experiment and they’ll understand the concept in a much better way. This allows you to hop between different presentations for different topics and between different videos to show to your students.

Some live class platforms such as KidsChaupal give you access to use a whiteboard while conducting an online class session with your students and you can use that whiteboard just like you use one of the board in your real classroom.

Using these tools that come along with the live class feature will help you make your class more engaging and will help your students in better retention of the concepts they are being taught. You can use these tools to make your online classes even more interesting than your offline ones.
