The travels have been a way for KidsChaupal boss to make new friends.
The co-founder of KidsChaupal shares some of his memorable journeys and the lessons that they have taught him along the way.
Devendra Jaiswal, the co-founder of KidsChaupal, an online education platform designed to create a support system for kids, teachers, instructors and parents loves to travel. He calls himself an independent person who spends most of his time working.
But when he has to let his hair down, the edtech startup boss likes to travel. He told ET Panache, "Travelling alone is an eye-opening experience. It is also difficult and the first time is always daunting but it can be very enjoyable. Everyone should do it at least once. It not only tells you about the place you travel to but you learn so much about yourself. You get an opportunity to pride on becoming an independent person and figure things out yourself. You try and come out of your comfort zones by mingling with new people. You also get to spend time alone- with yourself. You try and come out of your comfort zones by mingling with new people. You also get to spend time alone- with yourself, your thoughts and don't always need to be doing something."
He shares an incident from a trip to Colombo in Si Lanka a few years ago when he was taken out of his comfort zone. "I had a private room and I didn't mingle much with people. So you can say it was starting to get lonely. But the next day I decided to change that and become more outgoing. I started speaking and making new friends. You need to be open but you also need to trust your gut," he said.
The North East is a beautiful and serene destination that he would love to go again to. But there are still a number of bucket-list destinations for the KidsChaupal co-founder. "I would love to go soon to Iceland for the Northern lights, villages in India especially in the southern part as well as to Peru, Russia and villages in Italy," he signed off saying.
