It has its own beauty, its own importance- let’s understand this more clearly through this blog (Mandala art). Meaning of Mandala?

Word mandala is derived from a Sanskrit word which actually means circle, Mandala patterns are so interrelated with each other that it highlights all the interconnected mysteries of life, and the circle in those paintings depicts that life has no end, death is not the final state but a phase of life which passes. In simpler words- life is till infinity.

A Mandala art is mainly created for meditation purposes, which allows you to take your mind off of negative things and decrease negativity in life. This art is basically a therapy of one's mind if practiced, isn't it great? 

How is mandala art done? 

As already mentioned, Mandala art is a therapy, so it should feel like a therapy, a perfect blend of concentration and patience, the doer should feel peace in his mind while attempting to paint. With that being said, mandalas are extremely satisfying to draw and colour. The geometric patterns mixed with floral-like designs. The drill is to take it slowly, doing one figure at a time. Followed by other shapes around the circle in the same manner.

Drawing a mandala seems extremely difficult in the very first go or initial phases, but slowly with time, what happens is magical! The beautiful look of mandala art comes from following a rhythm, and performing it over and over again starts feeling relaxing and makes you live that moment to the fullest.

What all is required to master mandala doodle art?

Like every other skill, this is a skill of making art, hence is its requirements are- dedication, drive to learn, and love for learning to sketch by osing yourself into the moment.

 Apart from this, if we talk of material things, you will need paper, a pencil, a ruler, an eraser, and if you choose to color it, then watercolors, crayons or any other type of art colors will work fine.

 Along with these, you’d also require a doze of:

From common people to monks, everyone is fascinated by its wonders, Mandalas are assumed to represent ample universe aspects, and are used not only as instruments of meditation but also as symbols of prayer in China, Japan, and Tibet.

In Buddhist traditions, Mandala art acts as bliss for monks to focus their minds during meditation to restore inner peace. Because- " the key to a healthy life is having a healthy mind".

A very honest answer to this question is, you can learn it anytime, anywhere and from anyone, sitting in the comfort zone of your home, and can be proficient in it too. Although Mandala is famous in Asian countries, this doesn't matter at all. Today, you just need to have an internet connection and you are good to go.
